Join us on Monday, January 13th at 6 pm for the fourth film in our “Phillies Best Movies” film series. Starring Coleman Domingo, Chris Rock, and Audre McDonald, Rustin follows the story of Bayard Rustin, a political activist who is influenced by the speeches, thoughts, and actions of Martine Luther King. When given the task of organizing and coordinating the 1963 freedom march of around 100, 000 people to the White House, he puts his heart and soul into it. If new to Popcorn Theology, simply watch the film on your favorite streaming service or by DVD and then join the meeting via Zoom to discuss the moral, ethical, spiritual, and cinematic aspects of the film. The Zoom link will be sent to the parish email list of Sunday, January 12th. For more information contact Mark Nestlehutt mark.nestlehutt@gmail.com or Steve Ockenden steveock@verizon.net
All are welcome.
