Position: Weekend Facilities Manager

Reports to:  Rector; Parish Administrator

Position Description: The purpose of the Weekend Facilities Manager is to work in communication with the Rector, Parish Administrator, and Property Chair.

Hours: 11 hours/weekend.  Typically, Saturday, 9AM to 2PM and Sunday, 7AM to 1PM, but hours are open to some flexibility.

Responsibilities and Required Tasks:

Ensure that the three main buildings of the church are clean and ready for use each weekend in accordance with the needs of the parish.

The Weekend Facilities Manager is responsible for cleaning the Historic Church building, Bank Barn, and parish house to include removal of trash and recycling; ensuring that cleaning supplies are ordered; setting up spaces for worship or parish activities; making coffee and preparing fellowship spaces for Sunday mornings; unlocking and locking buildings on Saturdays and Sundays; other duties as assigned. Additionally, the Weekend Facilities Manager will visually inspect all rooms of each building, including bathrooms, every weekend for any potential problems.   The Weekend Facilities Manager would take primary responsibility to report any findings to the Property Commission, Parish Administrator and Rector, and to follow up with the appropriate people on the commission to ensure that the property issues are resolved.

Compensation: $20/hour.  This position does not include benefits.

Required: High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred: Experience in building maintenance.
