- Adult Christian Education
meets every Sunday in the Barn following the 9:00 a.m. service. Anglicans proudly
proclaim that we sit on the "three-legged stool" of Scripture, Tradition, and
Reason. This fall, with Opening the Bible, we will explore the first leg of the stool and
learn how the Bible came to be, how it is read and understood by people of faith, and how we
can use it in our spiritual journey.

volunteering to help. Visit our Good Works webpage

- The A Capella Pops, an acclaimed fifty-voice chorus founded by and under
the direction of parishioner Jan Muck, performs at St. Peter's Church in the Barn on
October 22, 2006, at 4:00 p.m. The group is generously donating
all proceeds from its performance to St. Peter's to benefit the capital fund drive. The music
they'll be presenting comes from the great American songbook, spanning Broadway, jazz, folk,
pop and gospel - a repertoire that lifts the spirit, coaxes a smile and stirs the soul.
Tickets are available following each Sunday service or in the church office
for a donation of $12 per ticket. Visitors coming to the concert may send $12 per ticket to
St. Peter's Church in the Great Valley, PO Box 334, Paoli, PA 19301-0334. Please write
"Tickets" on the envelope. The tickets will be held for them at the door on October 22. Or,

- Has your family discovered a fun outing that you love to tell other families about? St.
Peter's Preschool is creating a book of family outings, including restaurants, parks,
museums, outdoor destinations - anything families enjoy - to sell at this year's Craft Fair,
and we need your help! The book will include the usual info about cost, hours, and
attractions, but also straight talk about each outing from people who have been there and
know the value of a changing table, a water fountain, and a children's menu that's not
entirely deep-fried. Marsha Wirtel (434-962-3121) is forming a group to collect and check out
ideas.
