This year, the program will be led by Deacons Jeff Moretzsohn from Good Samaritan, Paoli and Dennis Coleman from St. Peter’s, Phoenixville. “The Heart of Poverty” is aimed at understanding the depth, causes, and reasons for poverty everywhere, including the twelfth richest county in the U.S. – our own Chester County. We will explore our own interest and abilities to seek and serve Christ in all others. Look for brochures in the gathering spaces in the historic church and the Barn, and find out more about the program at http://ift.tt/1CFvqkj. Please sign up in either gathering space to bring soup or bread if you can!
The Heart of Poverty is a weekly course that meets for five consecutive weeks. It has been prepared for parishes that seek to gain a deeper understanding of what poverty means, and how best to serve the poor of their community.
