to all three classes. Additional Lunch Bunch days may be added based on interest.
- Morning Out: Not a preschool class, but a program to enable very young children to experience being
with other children their age in a safe and loving environment away from
their parents. Morning Out is open to children who will be 2 by September 1
of the current school year, and is available Tuesday and/or Thursday morning, 9:15-11:30 a.m., with drop-off and pick-up
windows of 9-9:15 and 11:30-11:45.
Children in all classes, but not in the Morning Out Program, must be toilet trained. Because we are a developmental
preschool, age ranges may be flexible based on children's readiness.

St. Peter's Preschool has small, nurturing,
non-academic programs for 3 and 4-year olds. Each child is provided with a caring and nurturing
Christian environment that will foster his or her social, emotional, physical, and
educational development. For many children, this will be their first learning
environment away from home. Our objective is to make a smooth transition to
the school setting with a supportive and caring atmosphere appropriate to each
child’s Individual developmental level. A low teacher- child ratio enables
much individualized attention.
The philosophy of St Peter's Preschool reflects that a child learns best
by doing, and that indeed the work of children is play. The Preschool, part of historic St Peter's Church of the
Great Valley, is located on a lovely 16-acre nature preserve. Our programs,
conducted within this unique natural setting, provide many opportunities for
each child to see the wonders of nature while their curiosity and interests
are challenged and motivated. Physical, social and cognitive skills are all
emphasized, and both free play and structured time is balanced in a
comfortable and relaxed setting.
St. Peter's Preschool is a non-profit
school and does not discriminate with regard to race or religion. It is an outreach educational ministry of St Peter's Church in the Great
Valley (Episcopal). St. Peter's Preschool meets or
exceeds licensing guidelines for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. All teachers are Pennsylvania state certified in Early Childhood
Education.
