Directions to the Good Works Warehouse
in Coatesville, Pennsylvania
from St. Peter's Church in the Great Valley:After 17 years in the same location, the Good Works ministry has acquired a much larger property in Coatesville from which to coordinate and outfit its workdays to the community. In all workdays in which St. Peter's Church will participate, Second Saturday volunteers should meet at the warehouse at 8:45 a.m.
Directions from St. Peter's Church in the Great Valley are as follows:
Turn right onto Church Road and continue 0.8 miles to Swedesford Road.
Turn right and travel to the third traffic light – Great Valley Parkway. Turn left to access Route 202 South.
Continue south approximately 4 miles and exit onto Route 30 Bypass West. Travel approximately 10 miles to the Route 82 - Coatesville exit.
At the bottom of the exit ramp guide right onto Route 82 South and continue approximately 2 miles, under the large railroad viaduct, into Coatesville and the stop light intersection with Route 30 (Lincoln Highway).
Turn left (east) onto the Lincoln Highway and continue exactly .6 miles, past the Good Works Headquarters on the right (THIS IS NOT YOUR DESTINATION) to the traffic light intersection of 6th Avenue.
Turn right and continue several blocks up the hill to WALNUT STREET. Turn left onto Walnut and continue about 50 yards to an unmarked alley next to the Coatesville Mennonite Church. You will see signs for Good Works. Turn left into the alley and park in the church parking lot. Walk down to the Good Works warehouse which is farther down the alley beyond the parking area on the right.
Travel time from St. Peter's Church is approximately 30 minutes. Plan to arrive at the warehouse by 8:45 a.m. to sign in and help in loading tools and supplies. If you have a pair of heavy work gloves, bring them.
