The St. Peter’s Players are pleased to present

Plaza Suite

by Neil Simon

Thursday, May 17 & Friday, May 18, 2018 at 8:00 p.m.

Saturday, May 19 at 2:00 and 8:00 p.m.

Written in 1968, Plaza Suite was Simon’s fifth play and ran for over 1,000 performances. The play features three different couples staying in Suite 719 of New York City’s venerable Plaza Hotel at three different times.

Originally, the three couples were played on Broadway by George C. Scott and Maureen Stapleton. In our production, directed by John Hunter Orr, the three acts will have separate casts.

In typical Simon style, each of the comedies is filled with the sparkling zingers for which he is so well known, but also contains poignant moments that reflect the lives and troubles of ordinary people.
