Dr. Martha Niepold Johnson
Organist and Choirmaster

Martha Johnson (B.A, Organ, M.A., Musicology from the University of North Carolina; D. Mus., Choral Conducting from Indiana University) is currently the Organist and Choirmaster at St. Peter's Church in the Great Valley where she conducts three choirs. She has taught at St. Lawrence University (as University Organist) and DePauw University. She is a member (and has served on the board) of the American Guild of Organists, and serves as president of the Association of Anglican Musicians. She served on the steering committee which planned the American Guild of Organists National Convention in Philadelphia in July, 2002. For six years she served as chair of the Music Commission of the Diocese of Pennsylvania.
