For over three hundred years people have climbed this high hill
within the Great Valley seeking God in this truly historic place. The means of travel have changed,

While the Clergy provides for the spiritual
leadership of the parish, the leadership for all financial and organizational
issues within the parish falls under the accountability of the Vestry. Generally comprising 12 parish members, the Vestry is elected by the congregation for three year terms. Current Vestry members are:

Four new Vestry members are elected from nominations every year. A Junior
Warden and Senior Warden are appointed from within the Vestry, as well as
a Treasurer and a Secretary. Because the parish of St. Peter's Church in the Great
Valley is so active and diverse, the Vestry acts as a board of directors,
assigning a great deal of decision making to individual
commissions and committees.
