Dr. Bruce W. Glenny
Associate Organist/Choirmaster

A native of Massachusetts, Bruce began his study of keyboard instruments at the age of 5 years old. He went on to major in organ performance at Boston University where he earned the Bachelor of Music degree. Graduate work followed at the New England Conservatory of Music and at the Eastman School of Music. Bruce received two degrees from the Eastman School, the first a Masters in harpsichord performance and the second a Doctor of Musical Arts in organ performance.

As a performer, Bruce has played many recitals in the US, England and Italy. He has given concerts for the International Clavichord Symposium in Magnano, Italy, for the British Clavichord Society in Edinburgh, Scotland and for the Midwest Historical Keyboard Society. For 13 years Bruce was the music director for several churches in Illinois and Michigan.

Since his return to the East Coast in 2001, he has been the assistant organist at St. David's Episcopal Church in Wayne and the organist at St. George's Episcopal Church in Ardmore. In September Bruce will be teaching choral music at Garnet Valley High School in Glen Mills, Pa
