After spending Lent exploring Celtic Christianity, we turn in April to issues of justice and mercy on a more local scale. On Sunday, April 3, Brendan Hickey will present a brief history of incarceration in America, focusing on the Pennsylvania System, then talk about some of the inequities in the current system. Brendan has been the Death Penalty Abolition Coordinator for Amnesty International Group #342 in Chester County for 14 years. He will conclude with a discussion of the problems and current issues in American capital punishment.
