Day II will be remembered as "the day that the rains came down."

And then, after the work, more fun . . .

Today was another work day for the crew. We’re just beginning to get used to these earlier mornings. Progress continued as usual. We were joined by the Americorps group today. They are very hardworking. and most of them know what they are doing, so it is nice to have them around. They all seem like pleasant hard-working people. Ken, Bryan, and I started working on a wall frame for downstairs, which has proven rather difficult due to the fact that the majority of the walls and flooring in the house are not square. The trip has been fun so far, and hopefully we will have contributed a great deal to this house by the end of the week.
