As has been our tradition for each of our Habitat trips, before our noon meal each day we "break bread together" by celebrating Holy Eucharist as a team. All are welcome, and often other workers or neighbors will join us.

Our first day of Habitat was very fun and full of a lot of interesting activities. Today I conquered my fear of heights by doing siding at the very top of the third floor. Brian and Brooke talked while I roamed to the top of the ladder and nailed in the J-channel. We returned to the dorm around 4, many of us very dirty, tired, and sweaty. Then we went to eat pasta with meatballs along with a salad and ice tea. Then everyone headed out to Wall-Mart to get some supplies. While my sister Devon and I stayed back, the rest of the kids raised Nancy’s blood pressure by pulling a prank saying that Bryan was arrested by the police. Every one returned home safe and sound with Nancy only a little annoyed.
